Earth ovens are a great introduction for people of all ages to building with earth, using age-old techniques and simple materials such as clay, sand, straw and bricks. In this workshop, teachers and other participants will work together to build an earth oven, and learn how to guide students through the process.
Learn how to design and build an earth oven for your backyard so you can enjoy the aroma of fresh bread and pizza baked at home!
Participants will build an oven on site using raw materials; including discussion on design, construction, material selection, temperature control and cooking tips!
